AirMedic Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AirMedic handles information when you use the Android app. AirMedic is an independent consumer-audio troubleshooting app. It is designed to help users narrow the next best support step for headphones, earbuds, and similar audio devices.
1. Overview
AirMedic does not require account registration before use. The app is designed around guided troubleshooting, product selection, and result pages that help users review possible causes, safe next steps, and situations where they should stop repeating the same action.
This policy reflects the current app structure reviewed on June 25, 2026. If the app later adds new features that change data handling, this page and the related Google Play disclosures will be updated accordingly.
2. Information AirMedic currently handles
3. Information AirMedic does not intentionally request as core input
Based on the current app build reviewed for this policy, AirMedic is not designed to require the following as part of its core use flow:
- Account registration data for basic use
- Precise location data
- Contacts, photos, or microphone recordings as a required first-run permission
- Payment information
- Health records or medical information
4. How information is used
AirMedic currently uses app information for limited functional purposes such as:
- Displaying the correct product and troubleshooting flow inside the app
- Remembering your selected language preference on the device
- Preparing or caching translation resources needed for the selected app language
- Improving continuity of the in-app troubleshooting experience
The current structure reviewed for this policy does not rely on a user account system or a dedicated cloud profile to provide the core troubleshooting flow.
5. Network access and translation resources
The current app includes translation-related functionality. If a language feature requires a translation model or related resource that is not already available on the device, the app may use network access to obtain that resource. The downloaded resource is used to support app language handling and troubleshooting presentation.
AirMedic may also store translation output locally on the device after it is generated, so the same content does not need to be rebuilt every time.
6. Data sharing
AirMedic does not state that it sells personal information. Based on the current build reviewed for this policy, the app is not presented as a social platform and is not built around public user profiles.
If you leave the app through external support links, the destination website or service will operate under its own terms and privacy practices.
7. Third-party services
AirMedic may interact with third-party platforms or components in limited ways, including:
- Google Play, for app distribution, listing, updates, and store-related infrastructure
- Google ML Kit or related Google-provided translation components, when language resources are needed
- External brand support pages, if the app directs users to official support resources
Third-party providers may have their own privacy policies and operational practices. Users should review those policies when interacting with third-party services outside AirMedic itself.
8. Future AdMob advertising notice
AirMedic plans to add Google AdMob advertising in a future release. AdMob is not described here as a confirmed active feature of the current reviewed build; however, this future integration is being disclosed in advance because it is part of the planned product roadmap.
If AdMob is added in a later version, AirMedic will update this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosures before or when that release becomes available. Depending on the final ad configuration, ad-related processing may involve device identifiers, diagnostics, approximate location signals, or similar advertising and measurement data handled under Google's own service policies and device-level settings.
9. Data retention
Local preferences and translation cache files may remain on the device unless they are removed by the app, cleared through system controls, or deleted when the app is uninstalled.
If future versions of AirMedic introduce additional storage, backup, synchronization, analytics, or advertising features, the retention section of this policy will be updated to reflect those changes.
10. Security
AirMedic aims to limit data handling to what is needed for app functionality. No security method can guarantee absolute protection, but the app is intended to reduce unnecessary collection and avoid requesting unrelated information for core troubleshooting use.
11. Children's privacy
AirMedic is not specifically directed to children under 13. If future releases introduce features that materially change the intended audience or data practices, this policy will be updated.
12. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, store policy requirements, or third-party service changes. The most recent version should be treated as the current public policy for the AirMedic app.
